Undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. came face-to-face with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Conor McGregor at the conclusion of their final press conference, which took place on Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 23) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That’s the host venue for their boxing super fight, airing exclusively on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV) this weekend (Sat., Aug. 26, 2017) in what is scheduled to go 12 rounds at 154 pounds in eight ounce gloves. Watch the replay of today’s presser in the embedded video here.
As expected, things got heated between “Money” and “Notorious” when the curtain fell in “Sin City,” just as it did last month when “The Money Fight” went on location, as well as when things came to a head during the grand arrivals on Tuesday (see it again here).
Nothing left to do but tip the scale and throw the hands, which means one final staredown opportunity, followed by a foregone conclusion, or one of the biggest upsets in the history of combat sports.
