Undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather Jr. will take part in a special media conference call this afternoon (Thurs., Aug. 17, 2017) as he gears up for his Conor McGregor boxing match, which takes place a week from Saturday night (Aug. 26) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And he’ll have a lot to talk about.
Not only did “Notorious” conduct his own call on Wednesday, but Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) made a couple of amendments to their upcoming bout, including a change in glove size — first requested by “Money” — from 8oz to 10oz, something that appears to favor the power-punching Irishman.
According to the Mayweather camp, they want McGregor to have as many advantages as possible, so there will be no excuses in the wake of their 12-round battle, which airs exclusively on Showtime pay-per-view (PPV).
Today’s call begins promptly at 5 p.m. ET and you can get up to speed on all the latest and greatest McGregor news and notes by clicking here.
