Rising Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 265-pound power puncher Francis Ngannou battles ex-heavyweight kingpin Junior dos Santos at the upcoming UFC 215 pay-per-view (PPV) event, recently announced for Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on Sat., Sept. 9, 2017.
More on that upcoming showdown here.
Hopefully those mixed martial arts (MMA) fans who are rooting for “Cigano” don’t get ahold of this video, featuring “The Predator’s” lightning-fast hands, or the Brazilian’s war wagon could find itself without any passengers.
That’s because Dos Santos has not scored a knockout win in over four years, but has been knocked out himself in his previous three losses. That’s an alarming statistic in a bout that pits him against a fighter with 10 finishes in 10 wins.
Like this one.
Dos Santos (18-5) and Ngannou (10-1) are both nestled in the top five of the division rankings (see them here), with the former clocking in at No. 4 while the latter is nipping at his heels at No. 5. No doubt their UFC 215 showdown will put some distance between the two.
Who ya’ got?
