Yoel Romero vs Robert Whittaker full fight video preview for UFC 213 co-main event

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contenders Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker will collide for the interim strap at tonight’s (Sat., July 8, 2017) UFC 213 pay-per-view (PPV) event inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Romero (13-1) was expected to earn the next crack at the division crown; however, Georges St-Pierre came off the bench to challenge reigning champion Michael Bisping — who then got hurt — leaving “Soldier of God” without an opponent.

Whittaker (18-4) eagerly took that spot after violently inserting himself into the 185-pound title chase, courtesy of his blistering, second-round knockout victory over top contender Ronaldo Souza last April.
