Jessica Eye will have to wait even longer to end her current four-fight losing streak as her 135-pound tilt with Octagon newcomer Aspen Ladd has been removed from TUF 25 Finale tonight (Fri., July 7, 2017) live on FOX Sports 1 from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. According to multiple sources, including FloCombat, Ladd as fallen ill after successfully making weight yesterday.

Eye announced the news herself earlier today via Instagram:

This is obviously unfortunate news for both parties. Ladd, 22, was expected to make her UFC debut after compiling an undefeated 5-0 record with Invicta FC. She’s one of the more promising young prospects in the division and was being given a tall task in fighting Eye in her debut.

As for Eye, the veteran will now have to postpone her quest to end the worst losing streak of her career. The Ohio native has lost her last four Octagon appearances all by decision and was hoping to jump back into the title race by knocking off an up-and-coming name.
