Cuban powerhouse Yoel Romero will look to continue his winning ways tomorrow night (Sat., July 8, 2017) at UFC 213 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, when he takes on Robert Whittaker in a co-main event scrap for the interim UFC middleweight championship. Romero has amassed an undefeated 8-0 record since entering the promotion back in 2013 and hopes to add Whittaker to a long list of knockout victims, which includes former UFC champions Chris Weidman and Lyoto Machida.
In preparation for Romero’s impending clash with Whittaker tomorrow at UFC 213, EA Sports has dropped yet another entertaining simulation (shown above). Unfortunately for Whittaker, who has won all six of his fights since moving up to 185 pounds in 2014, the outcome is horrific. After landing a huge takedown slam in Round 1, Romero finds himself in top control yet again in the second frame. From there, “Soldier of God” lands countless elbows and ground-and-pound to soften the Aussie up and force the referee to jump in for the TKO stoppage.
We will have to wait and see if Whittaker has more to offer when the two tango for real this weekend in Vegas.
