UFC 213 ‘Embedded’ video, Ep. 3: Din Thomas in women’s underwear?

UFC 213: “Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2” goes down this Saturday July 8th from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and as usual the UFC is pumping out "Embedded" episodes showing what life is like for the fighters leading up to the event.

This episode follows Amanda Nunes to a stand-up comedy performance from Din Thomas and Fabricio Werdum as he trains and relaxes at the UFC Performance Institute. Alistair Overeem arrives in Vegas and talks about his exploding hotel, while Yoel Romero dances for the media. Robert Whittaker shares his love for Twinkies, and we get some behind the scenes looks at the live UFC Tonight taping and UFC 213 Open Workouts.

There's some controversy surrounding the video, though, with Fabricio Werdum sporting an Akhmat shirt during his segment. Akhmat is a Chechen MMA promotion with strong ties to controversial ruler Ramzan Kadyrov, whose regime has been accused of torturing and executing gay men. Werdum made a paid appearance at a past event and apparently the troubling news hasn’t turned him off the organization.
