Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just a few days away from its upcoming UFC 213 pay-per-view (PPV) event, set for this Saturday night (July 8, 2017) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Headlining the “Sin City” fight card will be the women’s bantamweight title fight between Amanda Nunes and Velantina Shevchenko, who first went to war back in March 2016 with “Lioness” coming out on top.
In the UFC 213 co-main event, top ranked middleweight contender Yoel Romero will return to action in the absence of reigning 185-pound kingpin Michael Bisping. “Soldier of God” will battle Robert Whittaker for the division’s interim strap.
Check out their “Countdown” video preview special above, which takes a closer look at both title fights, the significance on their respective divisions, and the reason mixed martial arts (MMA) fans should care about each fighter.
