Daniel Cormier vs Jon Jones staredown video from UFC 214 press conference

Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and former 205-pound kingpin Jon Jones were both on the dais earlier today, as part of the UFC 214 press conference to promote this Saturday night’s (July 29, 2017) “Cormier vs. Jones 2” pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza inside Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

“DC” and “Bones” were asked to square off at the conclusion of today’s festivities and no doubt promotion president Dana White was concerned of another pre-fight brawl, like the one that landed both fighters in hot water back in summer 2014 (see it again here).

In the UFC 214 co-main event, Tyron Woodley looks to defend his welterweight strap against jiu-jitsu ace Demian Maia, shortly after Cris Cyborg and Tonya Evinger collide for the vacant women’s featherweight belt.
