Bellator 183: “Henderson vs. Pitbull” goes down inside SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., on Sept. 23, 2017, featuring a main event between “Smooth” Benson Henderson (24-7) against explosive striker Patricky “Pitbull” Freire (17-8). The Spike TV-televised card also includes Heavyweight “Big Country” Roy Nelson (22-14) in his Bellator debut against Javy Ayala (10-5).
In addition, an intriguing new Welterweight match-up has joined the line-up. As first reported by The Telegraph, recent Bellator signee Lorenz Larkin (18-6, 1 NC) will attempt to rebound from a loss to Douglas Lima in his Bellator 180 promotional debut. Unfortunately for Larkin, that chance comes against the hard-hitting Paul “Semtex” Daley (39-15-2), who is also looking to rebound after a loss to Rory MacDonald. They are joined on the card by Adam Piccolotti (9-0) vs. Goiti Yamauchi (21-3) and yet another man looking to improve off a loss in his last fight — Lightweight prospect Aaron Pico. His opponent like the rest of this card is still to be determined.
