Conor McGregor and Draymond Green engage in epic trash talk over Golden State Warriors NBA jersey

NBA: Finals-Golden State Warriors at Cleveland Cavaliers Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

It’s not enough that Conor McGregor has trash talked just about every mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter in the game, as well as arguably the greatest boxer of all time, but now “Notorious” is spitting fire at other sports stars, specifically Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.

The two went at it on social media over the weekend, as Green — who helped the Warriors win their second NBA title this year — took to Instagram to order Conor to take off a Golden State jersey he was wearing, presumably one of his. “Notorious,” though was adamant the Jersey was that of C.J. Watson, a former Golden State player who wore the same number before Green and has a tumultuous connection with Mayweather, which you can read about here.

And judging by this, McGregor was indeed rocking a Watson jersey for the sole purpose of digging at Floyd on a deep and personal level.

Nevertheless, we know who Green — and apparently the rest of the Warriors — is rooting for when McGregor goes into uncharted territory to face Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match on Aug. 26, 2017 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
