It wasn’t easy, but Darren Elkins picked up a hard-earned split-decision win over Dennis Bermudez in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 25 — which took place last night (Sat., July 22, 2017) from inside Nassau Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, New York — to give him his fifth straight victory.
With the win, the Team Alpha Male (TAM) trained fighter is slowly climbing up the rankings, making a name for himself and proving to the rest of the division that he is a a tough out on any given night. “The Damage” took plenty of that in the bout, but proved once again why he is one of the hardest gridners in the game today.
As for Bermudez, the loss is his second in a row after getting knocked out by Chan Sung Jung earlier this year in Houston, Texas.
