Undefeated Australian pro boxer Jeff Horn picked up the biggest win of his career by defeating longtime legend and champion Manny Pacquiao last night (Sat., July 1, 2017) via unanimous decision live on ESPN from inside Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia to win the WBO Welterweight title. And though it was a highly-entertaining bout which saw both men have their shining moments, it was embroiled in controversy after Horn was awarded the unanimous decision win as many felt “Pacman” clearly won the bout. The judges’ scores and decision — see them here — were criticized by many including longtime trainer and ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas — who was calling the fight — as he cried foul, saying the judges were either too incompetent or corruption was involved.
