Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) smashing machine, Cristiane Justino, will finally get to compete as a featherweight inside the Octagon when the Brazilian makes her UFC return at the upcoming UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) event, set for Sat., July 29, 2017 in Anaheim, California.
What a long, strange trip it’s been.
Justino (17-1, 1 NC) will collide with fellow Invicta FC 145-pound import Tonya Evinger (19-5, 1 NC), who replaced Megan Anderson, who replaced Germaine de Randamie, who (wait for it) replaced Cristiane Justino.
To remind fans why “Cyborg” was worth all that trouble, the promotion is releasing some of her greatest hits, like her UFC 198 drubbing of veteran slugger Leslie Smith back in early 2016.
Check that out in the embedded video above.
UFC 214 will be headlined by the light heavyweight title fight pitting Daniel Cormier against Jon Jones. Elsewhere on the card, Tyron Woodley defends his 170-pound strap opposite jiu-jitsu wizard Demian Maia.
