Galore Bofando slammed his was into a victory in his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut against Charlie Ward earlier today (Sun., July 16, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Literally.
In the opening round, Galore and Ward found themselves jockeying for position against the cage when Bofando decided to create some separation by shoving his foe to the mat. Unfortunately for Charlie, he landed right on his head, putting him out for the count.
It’s not quite “Rampage” Jackson-esque, but it gets the job done.
The follow-up shots were unnecessary, but you can’t blame Bofando for trying to make sure the fight was completely over. With the loss, Ward drops to 0-2 in his UFC career so far with both defeats coming by way of first round knockout.
