Santiago Ponzinibbio predicted a knockout victory at UFC Fight Night 113 in Glasgow, Scotland, and “Gente Boa” got just that, as he absolutely crushed Gunnar Nelson in the main event of the Fox Sports 1 main event.
And he made it look easy.
After a feeling out process, Santiago managed to clip “Gunni” with a clean right hand that left him stumbling. Shortly thereafter, Ponzinibbio landed a sneak left that put Nelson out for the count. The Argentinian followed up with some ground-and-pound, but Nelson was already out.
And it took just 80 seconds to get he job done.
The win is Santiago’s fifth in a row and his biggest of his career, as he will undoubtedly shoot up the rankings in the coming week, which means bigger and better things for the hard-hitting Welterweight.
