As of this writing, the second Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor World Tour press conference hasn't kicked off, but that hasn't stopped McGregor from firing off bombs backstage. In a media scrum leading up to the event, Conor addressed the lack of communication and organization that led to some accusing Showtime and Mayweather of intentionally trying to silence him.
"You're looking at a young confident man here, coming in here, that fears nothing," he said. "Showtime and all these, they're trying to set me up. They're trying to catch me off guard, they're trying to put me in these uncomfortable situations. But little do they know, I thrive in uncomfortable situations."
"He's broke!"

"Last time I was here was when the Aldo fight was going on. They laughed at me then," he continued. "Like I said, I've been doing way back, predicting the future, defying the odds, and overtaking regimes since way back."
McGregor also took another shot at Floyd Mayweather's tax troubles. Earlier this week it was revealed that he still owes around $22 million dollars in taxes from 2015, the year he fought Manny Pacquiao.
"I think he's broke," Conor offered without prompting. "You're looking at a man crumbling from every angle. From a physicality standpoint, from a financial standpoint. There's so many ... look, he's forty years of age, look at him, he's dressed like a little kid up there yesterday pulling stuff out of a schoolbag."
Showtime denies 'intentionally' cutting off McGregor's mic during yesterday's press conference. #maymacworldtour pic.twitter.com/BqZtO6IP7p

For Showtime's part, they went so far as to put up a notice at the start of today's press conference stream denying they 'intentionally' turned off McGregor's mic during the Los Angeles stop.
'Intentionally' is the key word there that allows for wiggle room. McGregor's mic was definitely on for the first half of Floyd Mayweather's speech and then definitely off after he began responding to Floyd's claim that he'd take Conor on in an MMA cage. I suppose saying you didn’t do something intentionally is the least embarrassing way to say you screwed the mic thing.
