Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contenders Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker went to war for the interim strap at last weekend’s (Sat., July 8, 2017) UFC 213 pay-per-view (PPV) event inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Despite his usual flashiness — coupled with brute strength — “Soldier of God” was unable to outbox the Australian “Reaper” and went down on points after five rounds of intense action.

Whittaker moves on to fight Michael Bisping to unify the 185-pound titles while Romero heads to the back of the line, where boxes of cigars and bottles of rum cheerfully await his arrival.
