If you’re hoping for a dignified, well-mannered meeting of the minds at today’s Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor press conference, which takes place inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, Calif., then you’re likely in for a rude awakening.
It’s going to be a fucking shit show.
That’s according to UFC President Dana White, who helped orchestrate the Mayweather vs. McGregor boxing match, taking place Aug. 26, 2017 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
From MMA Junkie:
“It’s going to be a (expletive) (expletive) show. Absolute (expletive) show. So, I don’t know. It’s going to be crazy. I think it’s going to be a hybrid of the boxing press conferences and UFC press conferences. I think it’s going to be more like a boxing press conference than it is our press conference. You know how mine are. No (expletive). We walk in, and we sit down and, ‘What’s up? Who has the first question,’ and we get it rolling. I think there’s going to be a lot more (expletive) in this one.”

McGregor has seen his share of shit shows, riling up both fans and opponents before his UFC fights (samples here and here). No question the corresponding athletic commissions will keep a close eye on this one.
The Mayweather vs. McGregor world tour continues in Toronto on Weds., July 12, inside Sony Centre for the Performing Arts followed by Brooklyn, New York, on Thurs., July 13, inside Barclays Center. The tour concludes at London’s SSE Arena Wembley on Fri., July 14.
