Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight Travis Browne gets nervous before he enters the cage, knowing that in most mixed martial arts (MMA) fights, it’s difficult to escape the Octagon without getting repeatedly punched in the face.
But that was nothing compared to the “nerve-wracking” process of proposing to longtime girlfriend and former women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who could have turned “Hapa’s” world upside down by saying no.
Browne (18-6-1) will face his next challenge in the form of rising heavyweight Aleksei Oliynyk at the upcoming UFC 213 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Sat., July 8, 2017 from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It’s likely a do-or-die situation for the towering heavyweight, who is riding an abysmal three-fight losing streak in which he was finished twice. In fact, “Hapa” has not won consecutive fights in nearly four years.
That said, even if he loses, he still wins at life (proof).
