Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion, Georges St-Pierre, has reunited with Steven Seagal to create another action-packed movie, “Cartels, which is set to hit theaters (and On Demand) on July 7, 2017. St-Pierre and Seagal teamed up for “Killing Salazar” last year.

Check out the “Cartels” movie synopsis below:
Action legend Steven Seagal headlines this explosive thriller that pits U.S. forces against an Eastern European drug cartel. When crime boss Salazar turns informant, U.S. Marshal Jensen (Luke Goss, Blade II) and his team must guard their luxury-hotel safe house. But as cartel underboss Sinclaire (UFC fighter Georges St. Pierre) and his hit squads descend to murder Salazar, the situation explodes, enraging Agent Harrison (Seagal), who will stop at nothing to root out the mole that compromised the operation.
St-Pierre recently announced his return to UFC after a four-year layoff from mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. He was originally scheduled to battle Middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, in his comeback fight; however, company president Dana White canceled the match up because the promotion “didn’t want to wait” for “Rush.” St-Pierre is now expected to fight the winner of the upcoming bout between 170-pound champion, Tyron Woodley, and Demian Maia sometime after their UFC 214 scrap.
