Bellator MMA held a special pre-fight press conference on Thursday (June 22, 2017) to promote this Saturday night’s epic pay-per-view (PPV) event, headlined by the light heavyweight grudge match between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva.

As expected, the pair rekindled their feud — which started as The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) coaches for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) — during today’s New York City media event, just 10 blocks from Madison Square Garden, home of this weekend’s big shebang.
In the Bellator NYC co-main event, former PRIDE FC heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko reunites with Scott Coker to battle UFC import Matt Mitrione, who makes his second appearance for the Viacom-owned promotion after a victorious 2016 debut.

Bellator MMA also held a press conference on Wednesday for the Spike TV portion of Saturday night’s event, which includes the light heavyweight rematch between Ryan Bader and Phil Davis, who tangled under the UFC banner back in 2015.
