Bellator 180 ‘fan rally’ with Randy Couture, Dan Henderson scheduled before public weigh-in

Bellator 180: “Sonnen vs. Silva” comes to Madison Square Garden in New York, N.Y., this Saturday night (June 24, 2017), featuring the self-described “biggest card ever” in the promotion’s history headlined by a long-time grudge match between Chael Sonnen and Wanderlei Silva.

As the event dates draws closer, the list of supporting activities around Bellator 180 grows longer, with the latest being a “fan rally” that’s free and open to the public this Friday (June 23, 2017) at the Theater of Madison Square Garden, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET ahead of the ceremonial weigh-in at 6 p.m. ET.

The announcement comes laden with warnings that “space is limited” and to “arrive early,” because much of that space will indeed be filled thanks to Randy “The Natural” Couture, Dan Henderson, Cheick Kongo and Mike Goldberg taking part in a public meet and greet. In addition, Bellator is giving away two cageside seats to lucky fans who come early for the rally.

This will be the public’s first chance to see Goldberg as part of Bellator since the news broke last week that he and Mauro Ranallo joined Bellator MMA’s broadcast team. UFC fans didn’t get much of a farewell last December and will undoubtedly enjoy seeing “Goldie” at MSG on Friday.
