It’s official! And the trio of powerful promoters who are tasked with hyping the upcoming bout between former pound-for-pound boxing great, Floyd Mayweather, and current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight kingpin, Conor McGregor, will already join forces TODAY (Weds., June 14, 2017) at 8:10 p.m. ET, hosting a media conference call “in advance of the most anticipated event in 2017.”

Fight fans from around the world will witness the super-fight that no one believed was possible as legendary undefeated world champion Floyd Mayweather and Irish superstar Conor McGregor have agreed to fight in a historic pay-per-view (PPV) boxing event produced and distributed by Showtime on Sat., Aug. 26, 2017, inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
McGregor and Mayweather will not be on the call, but their respective promoters will be on the line to promote the 154-pound boxing (not MMA) bout, including:
- Leonard Ellerbe — Mayweather Promotions CEO
- Dana White — UFC President
- Stephen Espinoza — Executive Vice President & General Manager, SHOWTIME Sports
