What the heck is going on in Korea?
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight prospect Doo Ho Choi has been injured and pulled from his Andre Fili showdown at the upcoming UFC 214 pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for Sat., July 29, 2017 in Anaheim, California.
The injury is reportedly “serious.”
BREAKING NEWS: @KoreanSuperBoy7 is out of his fight w @TouchyFili due 2 serious injury. He'll be back late October. #UFC214 @ufc @danawhite

Choi (14-2) snapped a 12-fight winning streak after coming up short against Cub Swanson last December. “The Korean Super Boy” — still just 26 — won a “Fight of the Night” bonus for that performance.
Fili gives zero fucks.
Choi is out. Doesn't matter. I'm only focused on what I can control. I'll be ready July 29th to beat someone up.
— Andre Fili (@TouchyFili) June 14, 2017
After a red-hot start to his mixed martial arts (MMA) career, Fili (16-4) has been unable to win consecutive fights under the UFC banner, alternating wins and losses since his 2013 debut. “Touchy” is in dire need of an opponent.
Any suggestions?
UFC 214 will be headlined by the 205-pound rematch pitting Cormier against former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. Elsewhere on the card, Sage Northcutt returns to the lightweight division to throw hands with Claudio Puelles.
