Referee, judging assignments official for UFC 213 in Las Vegas

MMA: UFC 196-Nunes vs Shevchenko Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will bring a pair of title fights to its upcoming UFC 213: “Nunes vs. Shevchenko” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for July 8, 2017 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Headlining the pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza will be women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, as she defends her 135-pound title in a rematch against top contender Valentina Shevchenko.

Joining them will be longtime referee Herb Dean, while Derek Clearly, Chris Lee, and Glenn Trowbridge score the action from cageside.

In the UFC 213 co-main event, referee John McCarthy will oversee the interim middleweight title bout that pits Yoel Romero opposite Robert Whittaker. “Soldier of God” and “Reaper” will be judged by Sal d'Amato, Jeff Mullen, and Junichiro Kamijo.
