Video: Chris Weidman dresses up as Ultimate Warrior, gets clotheslined by fake Hulk Hogan

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Chris Weidman decided the best way to celebrate his son’s birthday was by dressing up as the late Ultimate Warrior, because dead wrestlers are still better than depressed clowns when it comes to entertaining impressionable youth.

Sorry, Bozo.

Joining in the fun was longtime friend and fellow mixed martial arts (MMA) bruiser Gian Villante, who complemented Weidman’s cosplay with a Hulk Hogan get-up, complete with ‘roid rage and gratuitous “brothers.”

Somewhere in Las Vegas, Tom Lawlor weeps.

Weidman (13-3) might want to reconsider taking some of those backyard bumps, especially considering his history of fight-canceling injuries, as “All American” has a very stiff test in front of him.

Which could be viewed as a “must win” after dropping three straight.

That test comes in the main event of UFC on FOX 25, taking place this July in his backyard of Long Island, New York. Opposing Weidman will be welterweight import Kelvin Gastelum.
