Even though Ion Cutelaba didn’t paint himself green earlier tonight (Sat., June 10, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 110 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, he sure looked like “The Hulk” in his light heavyweight scrap with Henrique da Silva. In just a matters of 22 seconds, Cutelaba stalked the Brazilian down and landed heavy shots on the feet before dropping da Silva with a nasty left hook. From there, the Moldavan bulldozer slammed vicious ground-and-pound into da Silva’s face and cemented his bid for a quick first-round knockout finish.

Ion Cutelaba talked big and hit bigger. The Hulk took out Frankenstein aka Henrique da Silva in less than :30! https://t.co/3jwKrYzP4T— FOX Sports: UFC (@UFCONFOX) June 11, 2017
With this win, Cutelaba moves back into the win column in the 205-pound division. He looked absolutely frightening tonight and even walked over to da Silva during the pre-fight fighter introductions to talk trash. If Cutelaba can continue to evolve as a striker and lean on more aggressive performances like this one, he could quickly enter the top 15.
