No UFC? No problem!
Those of you with a hankering for violence are in luck this weekend (Sat., May 6, 2017) as Saul “Canelo” Alvarez takes on Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. on HBO Boxing pay-per-view (PPV) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. That’s not until tomorrow, of course, but we’ve got the weigh-ins this afternoon to keep you entertained.
Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. ET!
Those of you generally uninterested in weigh ins may want to tune in anyway. Chavez Jr. — whose issues with the scale are the stuff of legends — faces a $1 million per-pound penalty if he can’t make the 164.5-pound Catchweight.

The card will also feature knockout artists David Lemieux and Lucas Matthysse, as well as former Olympian and current top prospect JoJo Diaz.
