Peter Sobotta and Ben Saunders engaged in some fisticuffs earlier today went all out during their Welterweight bout at UFC Fight Night 109: “Gustafsson vs. Teixeira,” which went down earlier today (Sun., May 28, 2017) inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
From the onset, it was evident the two men were keen on keeping the fight on the feet. After a few good exchanges, Sobotta eventually clipped Suanders with a mean left hand the floored “Killa B.” Eventually, Ben was able to weather the storm and make it to round two.
In round two, Peter once again found a home for that vicious left hand, clipping Ben with another clean shot that wobbled him. A game Saunders hung tough, though, shaking off the cobwebs to continue on. Sobotta kept finding a home for the left, though, and eventually drooped Saunders with another clean shot and went on to deliver a beautiful knee to the chin the ended Ben’s night.
It was an impressive win for Peter, who moves to 4-1 inside the Octagon after picking up his second straight win.
