ONE Championship returned to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday (May 26, 2017) for ”Dynasty of Heroes,” its latest and greatest mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card topped by atomweight sensation Angela Lee, and co-headlined by welterweight kingpin Ben Askren.
Speaking of “Funky,” his old foe Luis Santos was in action against Zabaztian Kadestam, a 170-pound showdown with serious title implications. Unfortunately for “Sapo,” the Swede brought an end to the contest by way of grounded knees in the third and final frame.

Santos was able to get back to the locker room under his own power.
Kadestam (9-3) will likely move on to challenge Askren for the welterweight title later this year while Santos heads to the back of the line. “Funky” (16-0, 1 NC) was able to dispose of Agilan Thani by way of arm-triangle choke in the “Dynasty of Heroes” co-main event.
