Video: Go behind-the-scenes at UFC’s new sprawling corporate compound in Las Vegas

Hey, remember when Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) laughed at the idea of paying fighters more money in lieu of opening a restaurant named after deposed bantamweight Ronda Rousey?

I'm not kidding, that was a real thing.

While I’m not sure how much progress they made on the culinary front, that sprawling new compound in Las Vegas is congruent with a promotion that’s worth $4 billion, as CNN correspondent Don Riddell found out during his behind-the-scenes tour.

Thanks to his guide and UFC Vice President of Athlete Development Forrest Griffin, who joined promotion president Dana White on the stroll though the world’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) organization.

The 180,000-square foot campus is designed to house nearly 400 corporate employees, a round-the-clock athlete training and rehabilitation facility, a media center, and much more, most of which are named after famous fighters.

As for the corporate gym? You can see that video here.
