While we won’t spoil Bellator 179, which took place earlier today (Fri., May 19, 2017) from inside The SSE Arena in London, England, we will show you the skirmish that Paul Daley had with Michael Page cageside after mixing it up with Rory MacDonald in the main event. The footage can be seen below courtesy of MMA Junkie’s Chamatkar Sandhu:
Wow. Paul Daley just went for Michael Page in the front row and they had a scuffle. Pandemonium. #Bellator179 pic.twitter.com/hhA2usDDgN

Page was originally scheduled to take on Derek Anderson in the co-main event, but had to pull out due to a knee injury. Before that, MVP was rumored to be fighting “Semtex” in the main event of the evening, but Daley was later scheduled to welcome MacDonald to the Bellator cage.
While neither fighter likes the other, they’ve never come close to blows in the past. The fact that Daley was game to mix it up with Page after his bout with “The Red King” goes to show you how much these two English welterweights dislike one another. If Bellator was smart, they’d book this fight overnight.
Bellator 179’s main card is still scheduled to air in the United States later this evening on Spike TV starting at 9:00 p.m. ET.
