Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Luke Rockhold is not going to take any shit from promotion president Dana White, who told the mixed martial arts (MMA) community that the Strikeforce import didn’t deserve a 185-pound title fight.
See those comments here.
Rockhold, who surrendered his strap to Michael Bisping at the UFC 199 pay-per-view (PPV) event roughly one year back, was unhappy with the state of the middleweight division after both Dan Henderson and Georges St-Pierre were granted instant title shots.
@danawhite I never said I deserved a title shot. I said we (middleweights) deserve clarity. We deserve something to fight for.

Calls for a temporary title went unanswered.
@danawhite "You have to earn your way in this company"? Tell me how did GSP earn a middleweight title shot? Think before you run your mouth

St-Pierre, as of this writing, is no longer an option for “The Count.”
Neither is the “ridiculous” Rockhold, who will take a back seat to top contender Yoel Romero. “Soldier of God” has already been promised a crack at the crown — twice — and is simply waiting for a date and location.
Don’t worry, Rockhold has those other contracts to worry about.
