Dana White: UFC asking for 80-20 split from Conor McGregor for Floyd Mayweather fight is ‘bulls **t’

Jeff Mayweather — Floyd Mayweather’s uncle and trainer — recently claimed that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was seeking an 80-20 split from Conor McGregor before giving him the final green light to face the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world.

It’s all “bullshit,” according to company president Dana White, who wasn’t thrilled with Bob Arums claims, either.

“What I would like to clarify is all the bulls—t about the 80 f—king 20 split,” White said during the post-fight press conference via Bloody Elbow. “Jeff Mayweather? Come on, Jeff. Me and Jeff go way back. Jeff, are you spokesman now for f—king team Mayweather? And Bob Arum? You piece of s—t? F—k you too. What do they know about this fight? You know what they know about this fight? Nothing,” declared White.

After initial disdain toward the much-talked about fight, Dana says he is very much in favor of the bout, and has even has early talks with “Notorious” about making it happen, and will have many more.

“Believe me, we’ve had preliminary talks with Conor, and I’m in a good place with Conor, and we’re gonna meet in New York when he has his baby.”

Believe it or not, this bout may actually go down.

How much of a percentage UFC officials actually take from Conor for his big-money fight against the highest-earning fighter in the history of combat sports, remains to be seen.
