Video: Daniel Cormier somehow drops 1.2 pounds in two minutes during bizarre UFC 210 weigh in event

You thought 60 pounds in two months was impressive?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently tied a ribbon around the UFC 210 early weigh ins for the upcoming “Cormier vs. Johnson 2” mixed martial arts (MMA) pay-per-view (PPV) event, locked and loaded for this Saturday night (April 8, 2017) inside KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.

And event headliner Daniel Cormier accomplished an amazing feat following his two trips to the scale.

During his first weigh in, “DC” came in heavy — with the towel — at 206.2 pounds. Because his “Rumble” with Anthony Johnson is for the light heavyweight championship, there is no one-pound allowance on weight limit.

That means it’s 205 pounds or bust.

According to my stopwatch, it was two minutes and 23 seconds from the time Cormier stepped off the scale at 206.2 and returned, still behind the towel, where he somehow managed to hit the light heavyweight mark at 205 pounds flat.

Notice his grip on the towel ... maybe he was using it to levitate?

Either way, the show must go on.
