Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight contender, Alexander Gustafsson, is gearing up for his UFC Fight Night 109 main event against Glover Teixeira, sheduled for Sun., May 28, 2017 inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden.
Their five-round tilt will air live on FOX Sports 1.
Because the Brazilian is primarily a striker, “The Mauler” has been working on his stand-up skills, which includes heavy mitt work with coach Andreas Michael. Unfortunately, the bearded bag holder was unable to stop the spinning shit from his 6’4” pupil.
“Coach Andreas has one hell of a chin,” the towering Swede wrote on social media. “What you guys think?”
Michael absorbed the blow without even batting an eyelash, which means he’s got the toughest beard in Sweden, or Gustafsson was unable to generate the kind of torque needed to finish him off.
We’ll find out the answer if and when he’s able to replicate that kick against Teixeira.
