Combate Americas, the world’s premiere Hispanic-based mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion, added an intriguing atomweight tilt to its upcoming “Combate 13” fight card, scheduled for April 20, 2017, inside Casino del Sol in Tucson, Arizona.

Stephanie “The Cyclone” Alba vs. Alesha “Half Pint” Zappitella.

Alba (3-1) is looking to rebound from the first loss of her professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career following last year’s razor-thin, split-decision defeat to 115-pound “Firefox” Paulina Granados.

"I’m so ready to return to the Combate cage,” Alba told MMAmania.com. “I’m hungry and I’ve had almost a year to improve my overall skill set. In the past, my biggest enemy has been me. This time, even I can’t stop me."

Zappitella (2-0) will make her Combate Americas debut following last February’s second-round submission victory over the venerable Miao Ding under the Kunlun Fight banner in Sanya, China.

“I can't wait to make my televised debut for Combate Americas on April 20th,” Zappitella said. “I've been practicing hard and it's my time to show the world what ‘Half Pint’ is all about.”

Headlining the Combate 13 fight card, which airs live on Azteca America and ESPN Latin America, as well as UFC Fight Pass on demand, will be the bantamweight showdown pitting Roman “El Gallito” Salazar (10-5-1) against the returning Ricky “El Gallero” Palacios (7-1).

Tickets for Combate 13 are on sale at Casino Del Sol box office starting at $20.
