You thought Mr. Lawrence had a problem? Wait until you hear from Miss Rousey.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion and Olympic bronze medalist was back on the mats this week, giving lessons to the next generation of judo competitors in her latest Instagram video.
Unlike this guy, Rousey tempered her aggression.
That’s probably how she got her leg swept by some kid ... I think his name is Ashi Waza based on the hashtags of her post. I dunno, weird name for a little white dude (I blame progressive parenting).
Anyway, some of the “Rowdy” mixed martial arts (MMA) fans were trying to be funny in the comments section of her video. Koldfir3 said, “Looks like your last two fights, lol” while diadia_tima — master of the caps lock — remarked, “OOOOOHHH!!! TATRVERDYAN SCHOOL! AMAZING!”
Meanies.
Rousey hasn’t been seen since her first-round technical knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207, but that hasn’t kept her from the spotlight in recent weeks, turning up on television programs such as this.
This concludes our Ronda Rousey report for Weds., April 5. Carry on.
