Here’s the first promotional ad for Ronda Rousey’s appearance on NBC’s ‘Blindspot’

Ronda Rousey is back to kicking ass, but it's not inside the Octagon. Rather, the former UFC women's bantamweight champion is taking on Hollywood as she makes a guest star appearance on the NBC hit show ‘Blindspot.’ Ronda herself tweeted a 15 second commercial for her episode, set to air this Wednesday May 3rd at 8PM EST.

‘Blindspot’ follows the adventures of mysterious tattooed woman Jane Doe as she and the FBI solve various crimes of the week. This episode brings her face to face with "her Ultimate match" Ronda Rousey, who plays Devon Penberthy, a rough no nonsense inmate in jail for smuggling guns across state lines.

The role will be Rousey's second TV appearance following a ‘Drunk History’ episode where she got to bite off the ear of ‘2 Broke Girls’ star Kat Dennings. But ‘Blindspot’ is a much bigger deal ... as one of NBC's more popular shows, Rousey's appearance will hopefully garner her enough attention from both the public and Hollywood that it could perhaps push some of her other TV and movie projects out of development hell.

There's still no sign Ronda intends to return to cage fighting any time soon. In fact, she just got engaged to fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne during a New Zealand hunting trip, confirming that she isn't on the couch crying and brooding over her loss like some coverage of her may have you believe.

As far as all the Hollywood biz goes though, you'll have to tune into ‘Blindspot’ on NBC on May 3rd to see if she's looking as mean on television as she did in the cage. The fate of that long-rumored gender swapped ‘Roadhouse’ remake could depend on it!
