Former UFC light heavyweight title challenger Ovince Saint Preux made good on his return to Tennessee last night (Sat., April 22, 2017) at UFC Fight Night 108 live on FOX Sports 1 from inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, as he wasted Brazilian knockout artist Marcos Rogerio de Lima after a shaky first round. De Lima dictated most of the early action, forcing OSP to dodge heavy shots and react as a defensive fighter. But in Round 2, Saint Preux rushed in, started to attack first and put de Lima in serious trouble. After securing a takedown and battering the Brazilian with heavy elbows, OSP locked in his patented Von Flue Choke.

With this win, Saint Preux moves back into the win column after suffering a three-fight losing streak. He’s still talented enough to contend with almost anyone in the top 10, but needs to remain aggressive in order to best reap the benefits of his natural ability.
