Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight stalwart Ovince Saint Preux will make his return to the Octagon at the UFC Fight Night 108 mixed martial arts (MMA) event this Saturday night (April 22, 2017) from inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., against the venerable Marcos Rogerio de Lima.
What can the Brazilian expect from the seasoned “OSP?”
A deadly mixture of striking and grappling, evidenced by this nasty submission win over 205-pound whippersnapper Nikita Krylov (embedded above), who was mangled and strangled at the UFC 171 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza back in early 2014.
Saint Preux, 33, continues to struggle after losing to Jon Jones for the interim title at UFC 197. The former collegiate football star produced a 0-2 record since that defeat, including a knockout finish at the hands of Jimi Manuwa and a split-decision loss to Octagon newcomer Volkan Oezdemir earlier this year. UFC Fight Night 108 will mark OSP’s return to Nashville after losing to Glover Teixeira via third-round submission back at UFC Fight Night 73.
