Knockout! Watch Anthony Smith finish Andrew Sanchez late at UFC on FOX 24

It was yet another memorable Octagon performance for Anthony Smith earlier tonight (Sat., April 15, 2017) at UFC on FOX 24 live from inside Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri, after he pulled off a sensational third-round knockout finish over Ultimate Fighter winner Andrew Sanchez. It wasn’t easy for Smith in the early going. He was forced to defend numerous takedowns and work a ton off his back. But after a tired Sanchez left his guard down in Round 3, Smith took advantage by landing a huge head kick that sent the former light heavyweight to the canvas.

With this win, Smith earns yet another memorable Octagon finish. The veteran has now recorded 24 total finishes through 27 career victories. He has never looked more patient inside of the cage and proved tonight that he can finish some of the tougher competitors that the middleweight division has to offer. Look for “Lionheart” to continue his promotional resurgence later this year.
