Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight and part-time lightweight Charles Oliveira scored an impressive submission win over Bellator MMA import Will Brooks last weekend at UFC 210 in Buffalo, New York.

But his post-fight celebration went a little too far for the blowhards at the New York State Athletic Commission (NSAC), which had a banner weekend during the April 8 pay-per-view (PPV) extravaganza.
“Charles Oliveira was administratively suspended 60 days for exiting the fighting area by jumping over the cage after his bout,” NYSAC spokesman Laz Benitez told MMA Junkie.
For the record, I dont trust anyone named “Laz.”
Oliveira (22-7, 1 NC) snapped a two-fight losing streak with his “Ill” submission and plans to return to the 145-pound division for his next fight. Since a 60-day turnaround is unlikely for most fighters, this suspension is pretty much useless.
