Snoop Dogg recently took the time to cut this hilarious promo for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Daniel Cormier, highlighting “DC’s” run inside the Octagon ahead of UFC 210, which went down last weekend (Sat. April 8, 2017) in Buffalo, New York.
But at the end of the day, the longtime rapper is good friends with Jon Jones, and he has his back.
So it comes as no surprise that Snoop wasn’t too impressed with Cormier’s digs and comments toward “Skinny Bones” during his post-fight speech after choking out Anthony Johnson. In fact, the musical legend wants to accompany Jones out to the Octagon when the time comes for Jones to rematch Cormier.
“He’s talking plenty of shit. Skinny Bones is going to kick your motherfucking ass. Hey, when Jones get back, I’m walking out with cuz. Believe that, talking that shit, Skinny Bones Jones.”
Snoop and Jones have formed a bond over the years, with “Bones” even teaching the his new comrade some “spinning shit.”
As for the fight itself, that is far from confirmed at the moment, as Jones still has three months left to serve on his one-year suspension which will be up in July. But, once the time is served, Snoop is confident Jones will get his title back, as well as label as “baddest motherfucker to ever walk in the Octagon.”
