Ronda Rousey hasn’t said a word to Dana White about another UFC fight

Dana White gave the press an update on Ronda Rousey’s fighting future during a UFC 210 media scrum and it doesn’t sound good for those hoping she’ll return.

Don't get your hopes up regarding a Ronda Rousey comeback. So sayeth Dana White, who told reporters at a UFC 210 post-event media scrum that Ronda herself hasn't brought up the possibility of another fight since losing to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 back in December.

"I have not," White said when asked if he'd heard anything from Ronda regarding fighting. "Ronda and I talk maybe once a week, once every two weeks. She has not said anything to me about a comeback, and if I had to guess, I would guess that she does not come back."

That should put to rest the rumors that have circulated regarding a potential return ... rumors that were never much more than fans clinging on to hope and reading way too much into social media posts. Ronda Rousey has been telling us in words and deeds that she was pretty much done with mixed martial arts since she got knocked out by Holly Holm back in November of 2015.

Even Dana White, a man that stands to make millions off more Ronda Rousey fights, has been more than clear on what he thinks Rousey is up to.

“She loves acting,” White said back in November before her failed comeback. “She’s good at it. If she dedicated herself to it, she would be even better at it. I think when she says she’s done, she’s done. She stopped doing judo and moved on to mixed martial arts, and I think when she’s done with that, she will probably move on to acting.”

What a bummer for fans (and for Cris Cyborg). But hey, maybe there'll be more fighting in her future ... it may just be fake fighting with the WWE.
