UFC Fight Night 108: Joe Lauzon vs Stevie Ray on tap for April 22 in Nashville

There’s an interesting lightweight showdown on tap for the UFC Fight Night 108 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, set for the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Sat., April 22, 2017.

Joe Lauzon vs. Stevie Ray.

Lauzon (27-12) is fresh off a split decision win over Marcin Held at UFC Fight Night 103 back in January. “J-Lau” has been consistently inconsistent, alternating wins and losses for the past three years across the span of six fights.

MMA math tells us he’s due for a loss.

Ray (20-6) could be the one to deliver on said statistic. “Braveheart” already disposed of Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 9 champ Ross Pearson and now stands at 4-1 inside the Octagon with two knockouts.

Stopping Lauzon would likely fast-track him to the top 10.

UFC Fight Night 108 will be headlined by the featherweight showdown pitting longtime veteran Cub Swanson opposite resurgent power puncher Artem Lobov. In the FOX Sports 1 co-main event, Diego Sanchez throws hands against the returning Al Iaquinta.
