Jake Shields vs Dillon Danis headlines Submission Underground 4 on May 14

Former Strikeforce middleweight champion Jake Shields will make his return to the Submission Underground grappling tournament when he collides with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt Dillion Danis, perhaps best known as Conor McGregor’s grappling coach.

"Danis and Shields are two of the top fighters in professional grappling right now,” founder Chael Sonnenn said (via Flo Sports). “As Submission Underground continues to gain momentum, we're thrilled to give UFC competitors and some of the top grapplers in the sport today a new arena to compete."

Shields and Danis are both 1-0 for Submission Underground. The former defeated fellow UFC import Chris Lytle in summer 2016 while the latter turned away AJ Agazarm last January.
