Streaking Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contender Gegard Mousasi will return to the Octagon on April 8 when he tangles with ex-division kingpin Chris Weidman at the UFC 210 pay-per-view (PPV) event, set for KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York.
A win is likely to vault him into the top three of the division.
Mousasi (41-6-2) is currently riding a four-fight win streak, with his last three ending by way of technical knockout (like this one). “The Dreamcatcher” has been calling for a Weidman showdown in order to get himself one step closer to a division title shot.
Wish granted.
To help remind fans why the former Strikeforce 205-pound kingpin is so dangerous, the promotion has released his full fight against Thiago Santos, which took place at UFC 200 last July.
Spoiler: It does not end well for the Brazilian.
