Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), FOX Sports, and just about every other media outlet covering mixed martial arts (MMA) is so desperate to squeeze every last drop from the Conor McGregor washrag, that we’re now going back to last August to drum up super-secret footage of his rematch against Nate Diaz at UFC 202.
I guess we’re running out of Floyd Mayweather headlines.
Anyway, this latest edition of UFC Soundwaves is doing what UFC President Dana White’s old video blogs used to do, which is take you back to the event and show you some behind-the-scenes stuff that didn’t make the original broadcast.
It was a great fight (recap here) so naturally, it would produce great clips.
McGregor won a close decision and went on to capture the lightweight crown from Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205. Diaz, meanwhile, has opted to ride the pine until the right opportunity comes along.
And not those damn lies.
